The school is currently promoting its Book Fair eWallet setup for cash-free purchases. They also send out reminders for "Spirit Fridays" to get students excited about their school. In September, they had SEP (Student Education Plan) Parent Conferences.

Ans. Foothill runs after-school clubs, math and science nights, arts days, and holiday sessions, with the opportunity for parents and teachers to help.

Q2. Does Foothill Elementary have programming for students already advanced in school?

Ans. Yes. The teacher works with students who are advanced by giving them different or additional assignments and/or special work. It all depends on the grade for the level of programming.

Q3. Can I drop my child off/have a later pick up at Foothill Elementary?

Ans. Foothill is partnered with approved child care locations for before and after school care, but there are limited spaces.

Q4. How safe is the school?

Ans. Foothill adheres to the Alpine School District policy on safety, which includes locked door procedures for school access, visitor check-in, and practice drills.

Ans. Updates will be sent via email, teacher notes, the school web page, and the Alpine District app.
