The people of Lehi are honoring Diane Knight, a North Point Elementary kindergarten teacher who is retiring after 36 years of hard work. There will be an open house in her honor where former students and parents can share memories and say thank you.
Q1. What unique programs does North Point Elementary provide for preschoolers?
Ans. The school has a Pre-K program that focuses on math, reading, and writing skills, as well as social and emotional learning.
Q2. How does North Point Elementary help students who are learning English as a second language?
Ans. The school provides focused ELL instruction and small group support to help students learn a language and do well in school.
Q3. Does the school have any programs in science, technology, engineering, or math?
Ans. Yes, North Point Elementary uses both hands-on STEM activities and digital learning tools in all grades.
Q4. How does the school get parents and the community involved?
Ans. Parents are welcome to help out, go to school events, and take part in family engagement programs all year long.
Q5. Are there any activities outside of school at North Point Elementary?
Ans. Yes, students can join clubs, arts programs, sports teams, and community service projects.
