In June 2025, there was a public meeting about possible changes to the boundaries that would affect Belmont and nearby schools.

Ans. Belmont offers Gifted & Talented programs, project-based learning, and after-school clubs that focus on STEM and STEAM subjects.
Q2. What does Belmont do to help students who are learning English as a second language?
Ans. The school provides ESL/ELL classes and small-group help to help students who don't speak English as their first language do well in school.
Q3. What kinds of music and art classes does Belmont offer?
Ans. Students can take chorus, visual arts, and general music classes, which help them express themselves creatively.
Q4. How can parents get involved in the Belmont community or volunteer?
Ans. Parents can join the PTA, help out with school events, and volunteer in classrooms or on school projects.
Q5. What kinds of reading help are there for students who need it?
Ans. Belmont helps students by offering literacy intervention programs, reading specialists, and guided reading groups.
