In April 2026, Odom Middle's Non-Varsity Band got a Superior (1) rating in Sightreading and an Excellent (2) rating on Stage at the UIL Evaluation. The group got a Superior rating in sightreading for the first time since 2001. The band's performance was a big step forward for the school's band program.
