The Academy at Old Cockrill is still making real progress in helping students grow and stay interested in school by creating a caring, community-focused learning environment. The school focuses on academic growth, personal responsibility, and good relationships, which helps students gain confidence and important life skills.

Ans. It is a public high school for students in grades 9–12.
Q2. How many students are there for every teacher at The Academy at Old Cockrill?
Ans. There is about one teacher for every 14 students, which lets for personalized instruction.
Q3. What kinds of classes or subjects does the school offer?
Ans. The school focuses on basic academics, helping students get back on track with their credits, making personalized learning plans, and getting ready for college.
Q4. How well are kids doing in math and reading?
Ans. About 56% of students are good at math and 77% are good at reading (ELA).
Q5. Does The Academy at Old Cockrill give other tests besides the SAT?
Ans. Yes, students can take the SAT to help them get ready for college.
