Stratford STEM Magnet School is becoming more and more known as a place in Nashville where students can learn and come up with new ideas. The STEM-focused curriculum at the school helps students learn how to think critically, work well with others, and apply what they learn through projects and solving problems in the real world.
Q1. What kind of school is Stratford STEM Magnet School?
Ans. It is a public magnet high school for kids in grades 9 through 12.
Q2. Which school district runs Stratford STEM Magnet School?
Ans. Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) runs the school.
Q3. How many students are there for every teacher at Stratford STEM Magnet School?
Ans. There is about one teacher for every 15 students.
Q4. How well are students doing in math and reading?
Ans. About 5% of students are good at math and 11% are good at reading (ELA).
Q5. Does the school only teach science, technology, engineering, and math?
Ans. No, students take core academic classes and participate in CTE and enrichment programs in addition to STEM pathways.
