Bartlett Elementary School is an integral part of the flourishing Memphis suburb of Bartlett, Tennessee. The school educates 644 students in Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade, and has a solid reputation as one of the outstanding elementary schools in Tennessee. The median home sale price of approximately $340,000 reflects the real estate's worth and the esteem the community has for it. One of the greatest strengths of Bartlett Elementary is that it implements a STEM-based "Project Lead The Way" curriculum and has a robust Gifted and Talented program that enables students to achieve better than the state-mandated standards and become acclimated for success in the next series of educational grades. There doesn't appear to be a public list of named specific graduates of Bartlett Elementary, but graduates continue to do great things in the larger Bartlett City Schools system. These accomplishments speak to the strong nature of the early education students receive at Bartlett Elementary. The school has a solid environment: 60% of students are proficient at math and 55% in reading; the student-to-teacher ratio is 15:1, which is better than the district average; 48% of students are female and 52% are male; and there are 44 full-time teachers and 1 full-time school counselor.
