Recently Horizon Elementary is doing great, the school community came together to give TORCH awards to students and staff who works hard, are kind, and lead by example every day. People praised the students and teachers who worked hard to make the school a place where everyone felt welcome, respected, and cared for. Another good time was when a teacher at Horizon won a special award for "Making a Difference." This award was a reminder that teachers who care about their students make school a better and safer place for kids to learn and grow.
