This fall, Garfield Elementary is making waves with a heartwarming community effort, the school has started a new drive to collect winter clothes and shoes for families which are in need. The program makes sure that all the students are ready, comfortable, and confident as the weather gets colder. It gives a lot of kids warmth, respect, and a boost in their confidence.That one small act of kindness has already brought together families, staff, and volunteers, and they are all grateful for it.
