Being Updated
The "Green Team" program at Kennedy Elementary in Pierre, South Dakota, is a project run by students that teaches kids how to care about and be more aware of the environment. The program encourages students to make their school more environmentally friendly by recycling, planting trees, and learning how to live in a way that is better for the planet. Students recently built a new butterfly garden on the school grounds. This will improve the look of the area and give students a chance to learn about the ecosystems in their area by doing things.
