Being Updated
Longfellow Elementary in Mitchell, South Dakota is celebrating the start of its "Learning Leaders" program, which gives students more control over their education. This program is run by students and lets them lead class discussions, help with activities, and even mentor younger students. It has helped students feel like they own the school and be leaders, which has helped them become more confident and improve their communication skills.
