The "Building Bridges" mentorship program at Abbott House Elementary in Mitchell, South Dakota, has just started, and students are very excited about it. The program pairs students with local leaders for monthly learning sessions. The program's main goals are to teach students leadership, teamwork, and life skills. It also gives them the chance to meet and work with professionals from a variety of fields, such as business, healthcare, and the arts. The response has been very positive, with students excited to take part and learn more about possible future careers.

Ans. It helps younger students by giving them a safe and structured place to learn.

Ans. Yes, students take part in classes like art, music, and sports.

Ans. Calls, emails, and school notices are all ways to share information.

Ans. Depending on the time of year, there may only be a few programs available.

Ans. Staff help them with their daily tasks and give them personal support.
