Huron Colony Elementary in Huron, South Dakota, is happy to tell you that their "Community Garden Project" went very well. Students, teachers, and families from the area all worked together to create a beautiful garden on the school grounds. This project is teaching kids how to have fun outside while learning about the importance of working together, eating well, and being kind to the environment. The garden has a lot of different kinds of plants, such as flowers and vegetables.

Ans. Yes, teaching often shows how people in the area do things and what they are good at.

Ans. There aren't many activities, but they meet the needs of the community.
Q5. What does the school do to welcome new students?
Ans. Staff give personalized introductions and help.
