Willow Drive Elementary in Sumter has approximately 600 students in pre-K - fifth grade who are encouraged to become lifelong learners and be successful in a global society. In pursuing its goal, the school works hard to promote respect, encouragement, and opportunities for all students to build a supportive environment in which they can become successful learners and develop academically and personally. Willow Drive has a PTA, encouraging parents to get involved in the school to develop the community. Hosting several Spirit Days, meal ideas, and incentives, and connecting families with the Parent Resource Room, Willow Drive is still developing academically, although the school plays an important role in the success of the students and offers a whole experience for those families in search of one of the several best elementary schools in South Carolina.
