Millwood Elementary School is located in Sumter, South Carolina, and is centered around academics, student safety, and parent participation. The school continually exceeds the district averages while offering a range of enriching programs for students. The school experienced a recent math proficiency of 46% and reading proficiency of 48%; district results were lower, and state results were close. Due to the consistent performance, Millwood has recognized closing achievement gaps, received Palmetto Gold Awards, and been accredited as a school. Parents are fond of the active PTA, Title I programs, and a range of other activities to further enrich their child's holistic development. Millwood is consistently also represented as one of the finest elementary options in South Carolina!

We are so excited to announce the name of our new playground! Following a school-wide and Robinson community vote we narrowed a large list of names down to four. Since our students will be using the playground on a daily basis, we gave them the final vote! 476.....
