Broad River High School is part of the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice. Its main goal is to help students get their high school diplomas or GEDs by giving them special educational and job training opportunities. Recently, the school stressed the importance of combining life skills training with career-focused training to better prepare its students for returning to school and finding a job in the future. The goal of these programs is to create a stable learning environment where students can reach important academic goals while also getting ready for the job market.
