New Prospect Elementary School just started a "STEM & Service Day," which combined science experiments with community service projects. Students built small birdhouses, planted native shrubs, and learned about local ecosystems. They also wrote thank-you notes to first responders. Parents and teachers praised the event for getting kids interested, working together, and learning about their community.
