West Scranton High School is very excited! The school is getting a $8.5 million addition, and plans are being made to finish contractor bids and make sure the process is fair. Recently, Governor Josh Shapiro visited the school to talk about how much it has improved and how important it is to put money into public education. During Red Ribbon Week, the school has also been encouraging students to stay drug-free by doing things.
Q1. Does West Scranton High School support new ideas and finding solutions?
Ans. Yes, students do hands-on projects and activities that help them think creatively.
Q2. Do students get help with standardized tests?
Ans. Yes. Yes, of course! The school has resources to help students get ready for the SAT and ACT tests.
Q3. Can students look into different college and career options?
Ans. Yes, programs help people plan for their future careers and college.
Q4. Are there chances to lead?
Ans. Yes, students can join clubs, the student government, and team projects to learn how to be a leader.
Q5. Does the school help students grow as people?
Ans. Yes, mentorship, enrichment programs, and activities outside of school help students do better in school and make friends.
