Reading Senior High School is getting a lot of attention for its new programs! The school recently got $51 million from the federal government to finish building the RHS Innovation Academy, a STEM school that will help with overcrowding and give students more space to learn. Students will be ready for success in the future thanks to this new building. The school is also putting on a number of events, such as Course Exploration Night, to get students and parents involved.
Q1. What is Reading Senior High School's goal?
Ans. The school wants to get students ready for college and jobs by giving them a lot of academic work and support.
Q2. Does Reading SHS offer AP classes?
Ans. Yes, students can sign up for Advanced Placement classes and take the tests that go with them to test what they have learned.
Q3. Can students take the SAT and ACT?
Ans. Yes, Reading SHS lets students who want to go to college take both the SAT and the ACT.
Q4. What kinds of help are available to students?
Ans. Students can reach their full potential with the help of academic counseling, tutoring, and enrichment programs.
Q5. What kinds of activities are there outside of school?
Ans. Students can learn how to be leaders and work together by playing sports, doing arts and crafts, joining clubs, and doing community service.
