Recently, the National Junior Honor Society inducted new members at Pittsburgh Sterrett 6-8. The ceremony honored students for their hard work. A few students were honored at this event for doing well in school and being involved in leadership, service, and good behavior. This award is given to students who are always responsible with their schoolwork and do things that help their school community. These kinds of events help students stay focused on their schoolwork and also motivate them to be leaders and do things outside of school. It also shows that the school cares about both doing well in school and growing as a person.
