Pittsburgh Classical is doing great things in the field of new education! The school is part of a bigger effort by Pittsburgh Public Schools to improve the teacher pipeline. One of these programs is Emerging Educators, a three-year CTE program for grades 10–12. This program's goal is to increase and diversify the district's pool of teachers by offering industry certifications and the chance to enroll in two schools at once. Students in the program are getting real-world experience and college credit.
Q1. How does Pittsburgh Classical make students want to learn more?
Ans. The school puts a lot of emphasis on research projects, inquiry-based learning, and discussions that make you think about many different subjects.
Q2. What kinds of arts classes can students take?
Ans. Programs in classical music, drama, and the visual arts help students improve their creative and artistic skills.
Q3. How do we use technology to help us learn?
Ans. Students use digital tools, interactive platforms, and coding projects to learn more and get better at what they do.
Q4. How does Pittsburgh Classical get people involved in the community?
Ans. Student-led projects, partnerships with local groups, and volunteer work all help people feel responsible for their communities.
Q5. What kinds of help are there for students to grow?
Ans. Students can get through tough times with the help of academic mentoring, counseling services, and peer support programs.
