Penn Valley Elementary will start the school year with a Back-to-School Picnic on August 26, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. It is a great opportunity for families to meet the staff and start making connections prior to the first day of classes. The Lower Merion School District 2025-2026 calendar includes important dates, including professional development days for teachers. Important dates coming up in the school calendar are the Facilities Committee meeting on August 14, the School Board meeting on August 18 at 7 PM, and New Teacher Preparation August 18-21.
