Wheatland MS eighth-grade English teacher Tania Turner raised more than $8,000 for a year-end trip to Hersheypark. The fundraising effort used TikTok and GoFundMe to gather community support for the student trip. The campaign generated travel funding through online outreach and public donations. The result shows how educators can use digital platforms to support extracurricular opportunities for students.
