Lava Ridge Elementary is garnering attention this spring, thanks to its commitment to student safety and well-being. Third graders recently took part in the Train Your Brain program, a session led by athletic trainers. They learned about preventing head injuries and how to properly fit a helmet. Every child received a complimentary multi-sport helmet, a clear demonstration of the school's forward-thinking approach to keeping students safe during play and sports.
