The most recent news says, Jarman Elementary School has been getting good press lately for both health programs that help the community and big improvements to the school building. In May 2025, the Delta Dental of lahoma Foundation brought its "Cavity Prevention Clinic" on wheels to Jarman. At the same time, the Union Public Schools Board approved a $1.74 million contract to replace the old roof at Jarman Elementary. This is part of a larger renovation project funded by bonds throughout the district. These types of investments describe a strong commitments towards both the health of students and the infrastructure that will last for a long time. The roofing project is meant to make the school more energy-efficient and protect the environment, also the dental clinic shows how much Jarman cares about whole-person care. In October 2024, the Special Olympics named Jarman lahoma's Unified Champion School of the Month because of its welcoming policies and strong support for students with different needs.
