The most recent news says, in February 2025, Eisenhower International Elementary School made headlines when Oklahoma Oil & Natural Gas named Emma Kate Starling one of Oklahoma's Top 20 Teachers. She got a US$5,000 prize for her enthusiasm, initiative, and positive impact. The school also got an extra US$2,000 to buy math and science supplies. On October 2, 2025, Governor Kevin Stitt held a big press conference at Eisenhower International Elementary School to announce that Lindel Fields would be Oklahoma's interim State Superintendent of Public Instruction. Fields has worked in education for a long time and has a personal connection to the school (his daughter goes there). He talked about his future goals, which include how to improve reading skills, hiring and keeping good teachers, and making career paths stronger.
