Latest News

This is a recent update about Sooner Elementary School in Oklahoma City, In early November 2025, the Moore Public Schools district named its winners for the 2025–26 Education Support Professionals (ESPs) of the Year. Ashley Ruddell from Sooner Elementary was chosen as the school's ESP representative. The district-wide awards honor staff members who work behind the scenes to provide important, everyday support, like office workers, aides, librarians, and instructional assistants. These are the people who help keep schools running and students supported. The announcement shows that Sooner Elementary values the whole school team, not just the teachers and administrators. This type of recognition may not directly lead to changes in academics, but it shows that the school is dedicated to creating a supportive and helpful environment and valuing all staff members. For parents and community members, it means that everyone is welcome and their contributions are valued. The strength of school is not only be in its teaching programs, but also in how it cares and helps for its support networks. This suggests that the student experience and school culture will improve in the future.
