According to the most recent news from Ridgeview Elementary School in Oklahoma City, the school welcomed students back for the new school year in August 2024 with a new look and a lot of energy. Parents and kids were both photographed arriving at Ridgeview Elementary on the first day of class. The pictures show a moment of hope and new beginnings. The principal of the school was honored at the Oklahoma City Public Schools Foundation's "Stars of Education" event in May 2025. The award for "Outstanding Principal—Elementary" went to Ridgeview because of its strong leadership and dedication to helping students succeed. This award shows how the school is changing its focus to include community involvement and teaching culture. These events show that Ridgeview Elementary is not only continuing its daily academic mission, but also making progress in leadership and school culture. Both of these things could help support its larger educational goals.
