Latest News

This is a short, current news update about Harvest Hills Elementary School, as of November 2025: Earlier this year, the Putnam City Schools district approved a $198.75 million Innovation Bond. Now, Harvest Hills Elementary School is taking part in a district-wide project. The bond will improve school buildings, make safety systems better, and bring older buildings up to date. These are all things that will directly benefit students at Harvest Hills. Harvest Hills is also adapting to new state rules about digital communication: Oklahoma's House Bill 3958 says that any electronic communications between staff and students must also include a parent or guardian, unless the communication is through a platform that the district has approved. Putnam City Schools is making these changes as part of a larger effort to make the school's infrastructure better and make communication safer. These are two areas that will probably affect the school's future environment.
