Midwest City, Oklahoma, is a medium-sized suburb of Oklahoma City. It is known for having a close-knit community and homes that are good for families. The city is part of the Midwest City–Del City Public School District, which has 19 public schools and more than 12,000 students. Good Shepherd Lutheran School and St. Philip Neri are two examples of private elementary schools. Diversity is essential in the elementary schools in Midwest City.
