Being Updated
Centennial Elementary School in Edmond is making headlines this year, gearing up to enforce a new district-wide policy. The rule will limit the use of personal electronic devices during school hours. According to the revised Policy FNG, students won't be permitted to use cell phones, tablets, smart watches, or headphones anywhere on campus, from the time they arrive until they leave for the day. The school district says this shift aligns with its "Power of Presence" initiative, which aims to keep students fully focused on their studies and interactions with their peers.
