Lomond Elementary School is part of the latest facilities planning by Shaker Heights Schools, which finds Lomond and Mercer are the next elementary schools to be renovated in the 2027-2028 phase. The district also released its 2026-2027 academic calendar and staggered start schedule, with the first student day scheduled for Aug. 18, 2026.
