Ann Simpson Davis Middle School is adding a new Academy of Performing and Visual Arts next year. The program aims to develop artistic talent in dance, instrumental and vocal music, theatre and visual art by incorporating these areas into the core curriculum. The academy will have about 375 seats and will take out-of-zone students who meet academic standards in core subjects.
