Siebert Elementary School is celebrating its part in the district’s academic turnaround, making sure all students have access to a safe, supportive, and high-achieving school environment. The school recently hosted its annual “Reading with the Pros” event, where guest speakers shared personal stories to inspire a love of academic excellence that will last a lifetime. The campus continues to focus on parent engagement through a new series of monthly interactive workshops and community resource nights.
Q1. How can I report my child absent on Siebert Elementary School?
Ans. Parents must call the school office at (254) 631-5080 or notify the school through the parent portal by 9:00 AM on the day of the absence.
Q2. How does the school handle students bringing electronic devices to school?
Ans. Student cell phones and electronic devices will be turned off and placed in the student's backpack or locker from arrival until dismissal.
Q3. Are parents allowed to walk their children to class on the first day of school?
Ans. Yes, parents can walk students to class on the first day of school only, starting at 7:30 AM.
Q4. How are transportation changes handled at dismissal for children?
Ans. If a student’s transportation is going to change, it must be reported to the office by 2:30 pm that day, either by email, note or phone call.
Q5. Can you have birthday parties in the classroom at Siebert Elementary School?
Ans. No individual birthday celebrations including delivering balloons, flowers or gifts to the classroom.
