Northland Preparatory and Fitness Academy is celebrating the success of its 2026 “Fit for Future” challenge, which integrated high-level academic goals with daily physical wellness milestones for all scholars. The school recently installed a brand new indoor fitness track and renovated its media center to include state-of-the-art digital research tools for student projects. The campus continues to see strong family engagement through its new series of monthly workshops focused on balancing nutrition and academic focus at home.

Q1. What is the daily academic and fitness schedule at Northland Preparatory and Fitness Academy?

Ans. The academic core of our program is strong. Each day, students will have 2 hours of reading, 1.5 hours of math, 1 hour of social studies, 1 hour of science and 1 hour of fitness.

Q2. What are the school hours and how do students get to school?

Ans. School starts at 8:00 a.m. Doors open at 7:35 a.m. for breakfast. Dismissal – 4:00 p.m. Parents are asked to stay in their cars and staff will bring students to the cars.

Q3. Will transportation be provided for academy students?

Ans. Yes, there is free bus transportation provided by the local bus companies. Parents should make arrangements for pick-up and drop-off times directly with the bus company.

Q4. What physical activities are included in the well-rounded curriculum?

Ans. Many sports such as tennis, soccer, and martial arts are part of a daily physical education.

Q5. In what ways does the academy prepare eighth graders for the transition to high school?

Ans. Our Transition Program prepares students academically, socially and emotionally for high school including guidance through applications, test prep and interviews.
