Recently, School 22 celebrated a major milestone in their early childhood program with record-high results on the foundational literacy assessments at the mid-year mark. Our school held a “Wellness and Fitness Day” with a day full of interactive workshops and healthy activities, led by local health professionals. The campus also recently won an award for a new “Student Leadership” club that allows students to help run spirit events on campus.
Q1. How does School 22 support young students moving to a full school day for the first time?
Ans. Our teachers prioritise play-based social routines and “Gentle Starts” to ensure that every primary child feels comfortable and secure on a daily basis.
Q2. Is there a sensory room at School 22 for students who need a quiet place to re-focus?
Ans. Yes, we do have a sensory friendly space on our campus with calming tools for students to use throughout the day to help manage their emotions.
Q3. What motor skill development activities are included in the School 22 physical education curriculum?
Ans. Our students participate in daily “Active Play” sessions that develop coordination and fine motor skills through fun, collaborative team-building games.
Q4. What digital updates does School 22 provide for families of students?
Ans. Real-time messaging apps allow teachers to send photos of student work and important school notices straight to parents mobile devices every day.
Q5. Does School 22 have parent education nights on early literacy and phonics strategies?
Ans. We have “Literacy Lounges” where parents learn fun, hands-on ways to support their child’s reading and writing progress together at home.
