Paideia School 24 is currently honoring its “Scholar-Athlete” leaders for their exemplary integrity and teamwork on the field and in the classroom. The campus recently received a community-funded project that transformed the school library into new collaborative learning spaces and digital research tools. Also recognized were the school’s teachers for their innovative creation of new integrated units that combine fine arts with core academic subjects.

Ans. Through deep thinking and rich conversation, our students develop the intellectual stamina and curiosity that will serve them well in the future.

Q2. Does Paideia School 24 have any special creative arts electives that focus on digital storytelling?

Ans. “We have an elective called ‘Media Voices’ for students, and they get tablets to make digital narratives and short films about the community.”

Q3. What does Paideia School 24 do to make sure that all students feel safe to share their ideas?

Ans. In Socratic seminars we use “Safe Circles” and discussion rules that make sure everyone’s voice is heard and respected.

Q4. Does the Paideia School 24 have yearly “Intellectual Showcases” where students can display their research projects?

Ans. Yes, each spring our “Exhibition of Excellence” provides students the opportunity to present their in-depth research to families and community specialists in the local area.

Q5. How will Paideia School 24 families be notified about upcoming seminar topics and school wide reading goals?

Ans. We send home a “Seminar Snapshot” each month that highlights the main texts and discussion questions being covered in class.
