The Hector Figueroa School marked a major milestone early in 2026 with its most successful Career Day, inviting a diverse array of local professionals to share with the young scholars. The school recently was recognized for the “Little Dragons” cheerleading and basketball teams for great teamwork and hard work at regional district expos. The administration announced this spring that 47 students had perfect attendance and they will be rewarded with a special pizza party celebration at the school with the community.
