Louis V. Denti Elementary School has a long history of helping kids learn in New York and is now a key part of the Rome community. In 2024-2025, Denti Elementary School received a donation of $50,000 for Literacy from Dollar General. Denti Elementary featured two different local theater productions of Finding Nemo Jr., hosted Military Appreciation Day, and hosted "Popsicles in the Park" with the Girl Scouts to foster interest in reading, arts, community engagement, and appreciation of veterans.
