School 45-Mary McLeod Bethune recently honored its legacy of empowerment with a "Heritage Gala" spotlighting student talent in music, dance and spoken word. The campus has had success in implementing its new restorative justice program, resulting in dramatic increases in student-led mediation. The school also recently held a successful information session for enrollment in 2026-2027, highlighting its unique PK-8 curriculum.

Ans. Students take a deep dive into the civil rights history of Rochester and present their findings at our annual community-wide heritage gala.

Ans. “Expedition Evenings” are for families to see student work and to understand the real world skills their children are developing.
