School 33-John James Audubon is celebrating the success of its International Baccalaureate (IB) program, as fifth graders recently presented global deep-dive research projects. The school also won a “Excellence in Innovation” award for its use of technology to speed up learning in early childhood education. The campus also recently hosted its “Senior Walk,” where local high school graduates came back to inspire current elementary students.

Ans. The curriculum is built to develop global perspectives and to inspire students to think critically and ask profound questions about the world.
Q2. What special features will the School 33-John James Audubon “International Marketplace” event have?
Ans. Students share their cultural research and language skills, offering traditional food and music to the entire local Rochester community.
Q3. Are there any professional-level choral or orchestral groups for students at School 33-John James Audubon?
Ans. Yes, students can audition for our “Audubon Voices” choir that performs at various community events throughout the entire city.
Q4. How does School 33-John James Audubon integrate technology to support accelerated learning within early childhood classrooms?
Ans. Our youngest scholars are seated at interactive tablets that deliver a tailored literacy and math program that adjusts to their individual learning level each day.
Q5. Are there special student awards at School 33-John James Audubon for “Inquiry” and “Academic Excellence”?
Ans. Every quarter, we hold the “IB Scholar” assemblies to celebrate students who have shown exceptional research skills and global citizenship characteristics.
