School 28-Henry Hudson is celebrating the “Character Award” winners this week. The awards honor students who exhibit the core values of grit, empathy and social responsibility daily. The school recently held a “Family STEAM Night” in which students and parents collaborated to build working prototypes out of recycled materials. The campus is also being lauded for its strong “Peer Mediation” program that trains students to help their peers resolve conflicts on their own.
