School 16-John Walton Spencer is celebrating a major increase in student participation in its after school fine arts and instrumental music programs this school year. Recently, the school hosted a “Future Leaders” workshop with local professionals mentoring students in public speaking and community advocacy. The campus was also recognized for its new “Positive behavior” program, which has led to a great increase in school spirit and student kindness.
