Being Updated
Longridge School recently held a successful "Spring Literacy Festival." Students took part in book swaps and creative writing workshops led by local authors. The campus is celebrating its latest state assessment results, which show that students have made a lot of progress in math and problem-solving. The school also held a "Cultural Heritage Day," where families told stories and shared traditions to honor the Greece community's unique diversity.
Q1. How does Longridge School's "Author's Workshop" program help kids get better at writing?
Ans. Students learn about the whole publishing process and then share their own original stories during "Book Walks" on campus.
Q2. Does Longridge School offer any special help to families who are new to the area?
Ans. Our "Welcome Committee" hosts monthly get-togethers to help new residents meet other families and learn about life on campus.
Q3. What kinds of fitness events do they have every year at Longridge School?
Ans. We hold a "Field Day" every season with games and sports challenges that encourage school spirit and good health.
Q4. How does Longridge School use the library or community centers in the area to help students learn?
Ans. To connect what they learn in class with real-world resources, classes often take walking trips to nearby community places.
Q5. Can Longridge School students help with a garden project on campus?
Ans. Our "Green Thumb" club lets students plant and take care of our seasonal vegetable garden while learning about the ecosystems in their area.
