Being Updated
The latest "STEM for Girls" event at Innova Girls Academy Charter School was a success. Students worked with female engineers to build prototypes that run on solar power. The academy is Rochester's first all-girls charter school, and its "Leadership and Voice" seminars, which are meant to empower young female scholars, are very popular. The school also recently had a successful open house for enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year. At the event, they showed off their small class sizes and unique STEAM-focused curriculum.
