The "Artist of the Month" gallery at French Road Elementary School features student-created digital media and traditional art that looks at themes from around the world. The school recently held a successful "Invention Convention," where students made original prototypes to fix common problems around the house. People are also praising the campus for its strong "World Language" program, which lets students learn about and use many languages and cultures from a young age.
Q1. How does the French Road Elementary School art gallery show off digital media projects made by students?
Ans. There are digital screens and physical exhibits in our hallways where students can show off their graphic design work and traditional paintings.
Q2. What was the most original prototype at the "Invention Convention" at French Road Elementary School?
Ans. One student came up with a "Pet-Feeding Robot," which shows how creative and skilled our students are at engineering in our tech labs.
Q3. Does the World Language program at French Road Elementary School offer any immersion options?
Ans. Even though it's not a full immersion, students get language lessons every day that include cultural role-playing to help them become fluent and confident early on.
Q4. What does French Road Elementary School do to honor its "Artist of the Month" winners?
Ans. The school newsletter talks about the winners, and they are asked to lead a small creative workshop for their classmates during recess.
Q5. What kinds of leadership skills do kids learn in the "Global Ambassadors" club at French Road Elementary School?
Ans. Students learn how to help run multicultural events and be peer mentors for new students who come from other countries.
