Being Updated
Recently, Exploration Elementary Charter School held a "Science and Technology Expo" where students showed off their original coding projects and robotic designs to the public. The school is happy about its academic growth scores for 2025–2026, which show that students' basic math and problem-solving skills have gotten a lot better. The campus has also started a new "Eco-Explorers" club that teaches students about protecting the environment in their area while taking care of a garden.
Q1. What kinds of recipes do people share at the "Culture and Cuisine" fair at Ethel K. Fyle Elementary School?
Ans. Families bring traditional foods from their cultures, and students learn about world geography while eating a tasty meal together.
Q2. What does Ethel K. Fyle Elementary School do to honor students whose poetry is published across the country?
Ans. We put on a "Poetry Gala" where students read their poems to families, teachers, and other local writers.
Q3. What kinds of engineering problems do students face in the "Maker Spaces" at Ethel K. Fyle Elementary School?
Ans. Students use building blocks and circuit kits to come up with their own inventions. This gets them interested in physics and engineering at an early age.
Q4. Does Ethel K. Fyle Elementary School have any "Parent University" classes on how to stay safe online?
Ans. We hold workshops for parents in the evening to teach them how to help their kids use school technology and stay safe online.
Q5. How does Ethel K. Fyle Elementary School use seasonal events in Rochester in its daily lessons?
Ans. Students learn about how the weather and farming change in their area, which connects their science lessons to the seasons in Upstate New York.
