The internal recognition event organized by Success Academy Charter School-Harlem 2 this spring in the year 2026 also recognized the contribution of some outstanding members of staff. The recognition was based on their role in providing good leadership in instruction within the school. The achievements made by some of the instructors at the Harlem 2 campus in fostering the reading culture and efficiency of operations among others were acknowledged during the event. Harlem 2 is currently part of an expanding chain of charters located within New York City.
Q1. In what way is admission granted into Success Academy Charter School–Harlem 2?
Ans. There is a blind lottery process that is used for admitting students, as per the requirements in the case of New York charter schools, with no academic screening at all.
Q2. Which sort of curriculum does the school have?
Ans. There is a highly academic and rigorous curriculum, with an emphasis on college preparatory courses including mathematics and reading and science inquiry.
Q3. Which enrichment programs are offered?
Ans. Arts and music and physical training programs, in addition to enrichment blocks that help in cultivating collaboration and creativity skills in the students.
Q4. How do students reach school each day?
Ans. The students commute using both yellow buses and the public transport services in Harlem, with the former being accessible for eligible students only.
Q5. Is there any special schedule for the school day?
Ans. It includes extended periods and an enrichment schedule for the students.
