P.S. 102 Jacques Cartier, a school based in the East Harlem area, recently took part in the literacy activities for the whole district that were organized by NYC Public Schools. This school has also been recognized as one of those involved in the partnership program for community schools implemented by other organizations seeking to improve wellness and academic activities for students, along with programs for their families.
Q1. What enrichment programs does your child’s school offer?
Ans. Your children will get literacy assistance, artistic experience, and basic STEM activities at P.S. 102 Jacques Cartier School.
Q2. Are there any after-school programs or extended learning activities?
Ans. Yes, students can take part in after-school programs depending on the number of participating students.
Q3. Does the school support learning needs of each student?
Ans. Yes, special education programs will be offered to those students who are in need of special attention and help.
Q4. What is the parental involvement in school activities?
Ans. Parents can take part in all activities organized by the Parent Teacher Association as well as various parent workshops.
Q5. What transportation options are available to get to school?
Ans. Students normally get to school via the NYC Public Transport System. They might be eligible for a school bus according to city policies.
