New Heights Academy Charter School, which was renewed for 5 years by the New York State Board of Regents in May 2025, also is reaffirming its college-preparatory mission with a new, strict cell phone ban on campus to improve focus. The school is speeding up its hands-on STEAM learning efforts for the 2025-2026 school year with the integration of advanced technology and practical, real-world skill development. The school also celebrated its first junior to get a 2026 fall college acceptance, a testament to the success of its targeted academic counseling and extended day programs.
